Privacy Policy
Effective August 4, 2026
Zeronics operates Langxel. This policy explains the data used to provide and improve the Korean-learning service.
1. Data we process
- Account data: email, name, profile image, and authentication identifier.
- Study data: video IDs, playback position, saved sentences, edits, and review history.
- Pronunciation data: a short recording is sent for assessment and then discarded; we retain the sentence, scores, and feedback, not the audio file.
- Operational data: cookies, device/browser information, country, referrals, and events.
- Billing references: Paddle customer, transaction, and subscription identifiers. Langxel never receives or stores full card details.
2. Why we use data
We use data to authenticate users, create and synchronize lessons, enforce plan limits, assess pronunciation, provide support, prevent abuse, operate subscriptions, and measure product reliability and learning activation.
3. Service providers and international transfers
We use Supabase for authentication and data, Vercel for hosting and analytics, Microsoft Azure for speech assessment, AI providers through Vercel AI Gateway, YouTube for embedded video, Paddle as merchant of record, and Slack for limited operational alerts. Processing may occur outside your country with the safeguards offered by those providers.
4. Retention and deletion
Account and study records remain while your account is active. Billing and transaction records may be retained for legally required accounting and dispute periods. You may request account deletion; data that must legally be retained is restricted and deleted when that obligation ends.
5. Your choices
You may access and correct account information, delete saved study records, withdraw optional microphone permission, cancel a subscription, or request access, deletion, or objection where applicable. Contact zeronjang@gmail.com.
6. Security and children
We use access controls and restricted server-side database access. No system is perfectly secure. Langxel is not directed to children under 13; users below the applicable digital consent age should use the service only with a parent or guardian.
